1The IQOS
IQOS has two main components: The Pocket Charger and The Holder.
The Pocket Charger is the power-bank for the Holder.
The Holder has a chamber where you insert a tobacco stick. The chamber heats the stick and is then ready for usage. Your IQOS require careful handling. This is how to use it.
2Get started.
Press the button on top of your IQOS for 4 seconds to turn it on. Charge it fully first time around.
Gently insert a tobacco stick into the Holder with the tobacco end facing downwards.
Press and hold the button until a vibration is felt. After approximately 30 seconds of pre-heating, another vibration will tell you that the device is ready to use.
The tobacco stick duration lasts for up to 6 minutes or approx. 14 puffs. To improve the satisfaction, take longer and gentle puffs with longer pauses between. If you take deep puffs quickly, the taste will be affected and your IQOS experience will finish faster.
3Removing tobacco stick.
When the Holder vibrates a third time around, it means that you have 30 seconds or approx. 2 puffs left. When you finish, slide the cap upward until a click is heard, about 2 cm, and gently remove the used tobacco stick. If the cap is not lifted in this stage, tobacco might get stuck in the cap and the heat chamber.
Never try to force or twist the tobacco stick while inserting or removing it from your IQOS Holder, since this can damage the heating blade. If the tobacco is still intact in the used tobacco stick, it has been removed successfully.
4Cleaning your IQOS.
Before cleaning your Holder, let it cool down for at least 30 sec. When the blade is warm, it could break.
Slide the cap off completely and tap out any loose tobacco. Insert your IQOS Cleaning Tool and gently twist 2-3 times.
Use a Cleaning Stick to clean inside the chamber. From time to time, remember to clean the contact points inside the Pocket Charger, under the Holder and inside the cap too. Remember to avoid the heating blade.
It is recommended to clean your Holder once per tobacco stick pack. A clean device means a better taste experience.
5Charging IQOS.
The battery indicator with 4 stripes shows the battery level. To see it simply tap the button on top of your IQOS Pocket Charger. If it is low, plug it into a power outlet with your IQOS AC adapter and cable.
A fully charged Pocket Charger is good for 20 uses and should be fully charged the first time around. It takes approx. 120 minutes to fully charge it, or until all the lights turn off.
The small lights on the Holder show how many uses it has. A fully charged Holder lasts for two uses before needing a quick re-charge in the Pocket Charger. Make sure no tobacco stick is inside when charging. Insert the Holder into the Pocket Charger and check the two small lights at the top.
When either light starts flashing white, you will know it is charging. Your Holder is ready when the lights become steady.

Clean the contacts.
Clean the contacts between your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO holder and the pocket charger regularly with the cleaning sticks. This will help the holder to be charged faster for your next experience.
Change the cap regularly.
Change the cap of IQOS ORIGINALS DUO holder every 6 months with a new one. This will help you to keep the optimal heated tobacco experience that you like.
Firmware upgrade
Update the firmware of your IQOS ORIGINALS DUO regularly. Updating its firmware will help you to maintain the device performance and improve your experience.
